Accor
AccorHotels Australasia engaged Brandworks to produce a major corporate document aimed at their stakeholders which communicated the value proposition of investing in branding and interior concepts.
— The Client
AccorHotels, is a French multinational hospitality company that owns, manages and franchises hotels, resorts, and vacation properties. Accor is the largest hotel group in the world outside of the United States.
— The Brief
AccorHotels Australasia Head Office engaged Brandworks to produce a major corporate document aimed at their stakeholders which communicated the value proposition of investing in branding and interior concepts and design for their venue's food and beverage offerings. The document needed to follow the AccorHotels extensive brand style-guide. The content brought together imagery, statistics, written summaries and costings outlining ROI and case studies for ten recently completed venues. The document was required to double as an on-screen and printed presentation.
— Our Approach
The starting point for this project was to make a thorough study of the AccorHotels brand style-guide to understand the existing parameters and to identify the aspects we were required to develop and propose. For instance graphs, tables, icons and the handling of other brands within the document. Full bleed photography was central to our approach. The high quality imagery was the most powerful selling point for these various venues, in conjunction with the impressive financial analysis which we focused on highlighting through high contrast typography.
A challenge of this project was achieving the seamless integration or combination of many brands and their various personalties within the one document. They needed to equally represent themselves while complying with the AccorHotels style-guide. Another was the managerial challenge of collecting and compiling information and assets from many different brands as the client required us to manage this aspect also.
